Connor Martin

My name is Connor Martin and eventually the students in this class will be doing their presentations on me (Confidence not arrogance). I took this course to further my photography skills as a whole, basic and advanced. I think I achieved that this semester, despite learning a lot of things I already knew. I think my basic knowledge of the camera as well as contemporary and classic photographers has increased, as well as my advanced knowledge regarding things such as studio lighting and also off-camera flash, which is probably the most important "skill I learned this semester.

As I referred to in the above paragraph I think the most important thing I learned this semester is the importance of shooting every day, this one tip improves all your skills and drives your passions. Overall this course has made me feel more confident about my photography and this course has just convinced me more that I need to become a photographer. This semester I had Pre-Calc 12, Business Comp Ed and Socials 11 photography is my escape and I love it.

As a whole, Photo 12 was a lot more difficult than photo 11, I definitely think you mark harder which is great, I love a challenge. However great photos take a lot of time, as a result of me trying to do well in Pre-Calc as well as Socials, my effort/time has dwindled for this course, which makes me sad, however, I will still be getting 100%.

This semester was full of many great assignments, and the only one I faintly disliked was HDR.I just didn't enjoy the "style" it produced. My favorite assignment would have to be levitation. This assignment was the most difficult, however, that's why it was my favorite, It made me get out of my comfort zone and explore new ideas. Plus I really love the photo I got out of it. I will be using photography in the future to provide for my family, I am going to be a professional photographer and nothing is going to stop me.
